- Separated area of a room or entire room
- Several hiding places (tunnel, huts)
- Several raised areas/vantage points
- Drinking water
- Roughage such as hay
- Gnawing material (branches)
- Digging possibility
- Conspecifics
All rabbits must have unrestricted access to all resources at all times. All areas to which rabbits have access, including temporary roaming areas, must be made ‘rabbit-safe’.
Possible dangers in the household are, e.g., poisonous plants and power cables. But also the nibbling and ingestion of unsuitable objects can have life-threatening consequences.
