Poultry meat production

Consequences for the animals reared under conventional circumstances:

interference with the health status, for example breast blisters (laying in wet litter)
inflammation of the joints and leg deformations
premature death due to ascites or sudden cardiac death
Many species-specific behaviour patterns such as scratching, running, fluttering and dust bathing can not be carried out because of physical disability and a high stocking rate.
