Space shortage and lack of height

  • Lack of space and height limits the animals in performing their natural behaviour, or does not allow it at all. This concerns, e.g., lying outstretched, stretching, rearing, or locomotor play. Such limitations can lead to musculoskeletal damage, especially in adult animals (e.g., spinal deformities).
